Интересно как тот же Python свой long в разных ОС хранит, если как таковых ограничений размера на него не накладывается.

Но: у Питона явная типизация, и этот тип используется только когда разработчик это явно хочет. У нас же заменять все числа на массивы как-то не очень хочется. :)
